Zactiv was founded by Zack George, an elite English CrossFit athlete, fitness model, and television personality. Best known as the UK's Fittest Man 2020 and AKA STEEL on Gladiators.
Zactiv began with a deeply personal story. As a child, Zack struggled with his health, confidence, and self-belief, experiencing first-hand the challenges many children face today. Through hard work, resilience, and a belief that change was possible, he transformed his life. That journey shaped a powerful belief that anything really is possible, and it became the foundation for Zactiv.

Zactiv began with inspirational, double award-winning school workshops led by founder Zack aka Steel the Gladiator, whose mission was to help children build confidence, improve wellbeing, and believe in themselves.
The brand was shaped through real experiences working directly with children in schools and listening closely to teachers, families, and school communities about the challenges young people face today. Through these workshops, Zack uses movement, mindset coaching, storytelling, and honest conversation to connect with children in a meaningful and relatable way.

What began as powerful school workshops quickly grew into a wider wellbeing movement. Schools wanted more than a one-off inspirational visit; they wanted ongoing tools and support that could help children consistently develop healthier habits, emotional awareness, confidence, and wellbeing every day.
This led to the creation of the The Zactiv ‘School Day’ Platform and ultimately the launch of the Zactiv Glimmer Pad, a children’s wellbeing journal designed to help young people build confidence, understand their emotions, reduce screen time, and create positive daily habits through journalling, creativity, mindfulness, stories, and reflection.
